| Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D Review: What's Old Is 3D - Pixels For Breakfast
Added: 03.06.2013 6:17 | 17 views | 0 comments
Pixels For Breakfast writes: Everything else within Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D works rather well. Co-op is just as fun, the sound and musical score are directly taken from Retros efforts and are still entertaining, plus theres the fact that DKC games are renowned for their addictive quality. I guess it all comes down to whether youve played DKC to death on the Wii and arent bothered by the full asking price to play it again. If thats you, like me, then youll have a blast replaying this with a much more appropriate control scheme and some bonus content. Otherwise, its very much worth your time if you missed out on Retros original effort.

| Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D Review | Machinima

Machinima: "Dont let these points limit you from experiencing this game though. Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is still a wonderfully entertaining title with plenty of highlights. Gamers who have yet to play through the mascots rebirth will be astounded by the bright visuals, various gameplay mechanics, and replayability, assuring the game remains happily in your 3DS system. If youve played the original version on the Wii there isnt much here to allure you back to the jungle, so only diehard DK fans need apply."

| Nintendo Life: Super Metroid Review
Added: 01.06.2013 14:23 | 13 views | 0 comments
Nintendo Life: Its undeniable that 1994 was an extremely memorable year of videogame releases. Sonic 3, Earthworm Jim, Doom II, and the original Donkey Kong Country were just a few of the critically acclaimed games that had us chatting profusely on the playground. However, there was one game in particular that terrified and mesmerized us so wholesomely, while many of its first-time moments still remain ingrained in our memories to this day. It took a total of eight years to see a home console sequel to the original Metroid, but in the Spring/Summer of 1994 Nintendo fans learned that truly spectacular things come to those who wait, when the genre-bending Super Metroid was finally unleashed upon the world.
